What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, yet profoundly effective form of energy healing that works with the body’s innate ability to rebalance and renew itself. Rooted in ancient Japanese wisdom and aligned with the principles of energy medicine, Reiki invites the body, mind, and spirit into a state of deep harmony.
By channeling universal life-force energy through the hands with intention and presence, Reiki helps quiet the nervous system, ease emotional stress, and awaken the body’s natural healing intelligence.
Today, Reiki is increasingly recognized in the fields of integrative wellness and biofield science for its role in supporting relaxation, clarity, and energetic regulation.
Yes, You Can Do This Too.
You don’t have to be “special” to work with Reiki. You just have to be open.
This journey will help you awaken your natural gifts, reconnect with your body’s wisdom, and begin to heal—gently, deeply, and on your own terms.

Why I Believe Learning Reiki Is So Valuable
One of the reasons I love teaching Reiki is because it gives you something you can carry with you for the rest of your life.
Life gets busy. We take care of everyone else, push through stress, hold onto emotions, and sometimes don’t realize how disconnected we’ve become from ourselves until we are completely drained. Reiki gives us a reason to slow down, place our hands on ourselves, breathe, and simply listen.
For me, learning Reiki is not about becoming some kind of “perfect healer.” It is about self-care, self-awareness, and learning how to support yourself energetically when life feels heavy or overwhelming. Over time, that simple practice can help you become more aware of what you are feeling, what you need, and where you may be giving too much of yourself away.
And the beautiful part is, once you learn it, Reiki is always there for you.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
Reiki is a gentle practice you can return to again and again—for self-care, grounding, reflection, and deeper connection with yourself.
Whether you’re completely new to Reiki or feeling called to reconnect with a practice you’ve learned before, this class offers a supportive space to slow down, learn, ask questions, and experience Reiki for yourself.
You’ll begin by learning how to work with Reiki in your own life first, building confidence through practice before ever thinking about offering it to someone else.
This is more than learning a technique. It’s an invitation to create a practice that can continue growing with you.
Learning Reiki Begins With You

Meet Your Reiki Teacher
Hi, I’m Kristen. I’m a Reiki Master Teacher, Integrated Energy Therapy Master Instructor, QHHT practitioner, and longtime student of energy healing and personal growth.
What matters most to me as a teacher is creating a space where you can feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and learning without feeling like you have to already know everything. I want Reiki to feel approachable, grounded, and useful in real life—not mysterious or intimidating.
I believe the best foundation begins with learning how to use Reiki for yourself first. From there, you can begin exploring how you may want to share it with family, friends, or eventually within your own healing practice.
My goal is not simply to teach you techniques. I want you to leave feeling more confident in your own awareness, your boundaries, your intuition, and your relationship with Reiki.
